2005 – Hostwave was initially born as Venusion CC in November of 2005 by Nic Oosthuizen (still the current owner of Hostwave).

2016 – Venusion CC merged with Evoledia (Pty) Ltd. for better cross service delivery and addition of new technologies and services in the hosting devision.

2023 – In early May 2023 the need arose to split the hosting devision from Evoledia for more dedicated focus on servicing not only general public hosting clients but also designers and design agencies.

The result was the registration of Hostwave Media (Pty) Ltd. on it’s own in June 2023.

Still the same owner since 2005 with the added 18+ years of hands-on experience.

While traditional hosting providers try to automate as much as possible of their interaction with their clients… we are focussed on actual direct contact with ours.

Therefore we do not offer our clients any difficult to navigate online consoles and tell them to find their own way. No, we are focussed on personalised client service. We want to talk to our clients and then together decide on what the best solution is.

We furthermore also include premium extras in all of our hosting usually charged for as extras by traditional hosting providers.

So in simpler terms… No chatbots, No ticketing systems, No frustrating waiting periods only to receive auto-generated messages.  We actually listen to your requirements and then follow a path approved by you.

For me personally, it’s all about delivering services I would use myself.
